Since suffering a 1-0 loss to Perry Hall to start the season, the C. Milton Wright field hockey team has rolled off three straight wins, including a 1-0 win over Maryvale Prep on Monday.

The Mustangs had a big weekend at the River Hill Tournament, dowing Good Counsel, 4-0, in their opener and edging host River Hill, 2-1, in the afternoon.

Four different Mustangs scored against Good Counsel, as Brook Williams led the way with a goal and an assist.  Brooke Schultz, Jenn Lewis and Katie Gallagher also scored, while Sara Nolan, Haleigh Fulco and Eliese Thrush all added an assist.  Against River Hill, Danille King netted a penalty shot and Meredith Johnson also scored, while Williams provided an assist.

On Monday, Williams came up with the only goal in CMW’s win over Maryvale.
