Helping lead a young Bel Air volleyball team to the state playoffs, Bel Air senior Kathleen (Kat) Murphy had a strong 2010 season which created numerous college opportunities.
This week she signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her education and volleyball career at Shepherd University (WV), beginning next fall.
Murphy, a libero and defensive specialist, will play for Coach Sarah Smith at Shepherd.
