Mount de Sales Academy’s tennis team picked up a 3-2 decision over Garrison Forest School in an IAAM A Conference match Tuesday.
The Sailors did their damage in doubles with the No. 1 team of Mary Kate Facchina and Gabby Cha defeating Kali Ruppert and Tori Joosten, 4-6. 6-2 and 6-4. Elizabeth McCollum and Michelle Nappi knocked off Garrison Forest’s Ali Portner and Fabi Bererguer (6-1 and 7-5) in No. 2 singles and Brooke Dignan and Alyssa Ferguson winning in straight sets over the Grizzlies’ Kelly McCabe and Alyssa Friedman, 6-2 and 6-2, in No. 3 singles.
Garrison Forest won the Nos. 1 and 2 singles’ matches.
