Gabby Cha scored a game-high 25 points, and senior Hannah Schmidt added 10 as Mount de Sales Academy routed Maryvale Prep, 54-33, in an IAAM B Conference contest Wednesday evening.
Trailing 13-12 after the opening quarter, Mount de Sales (8-3 overall, 4-0 IAAM Gold) outscored the Lions (5-6, 3-2 IAAM Gold), 20-8, in the second quarter for a 32-21 halftime advantage. The Catonsville school led 41-27 after three periods.
Megan Hildreth and Carolyn Hildreth led Maryvale with nine points each. The Lions will host John Carroll Friday while Mount de Sales welcome Garrison Forest School.
