Mike Covelley twirled a masterful two-hit complete game shutout, striking out 13 as Mount Carmel took sole possession of first place in the MIAA B Black Division with a 7-0 victory Thursday afternoon.  Covelley was in control throughout, facing no more than 5 hitters in an inning.

Phil Michael and Chris Van Riper managed the only singles for the Eagles (5-3, 4-1 MIAA B) against Covelley, and Bryan Williams coaxed two walks, but to no avail.
