Melanie Mocniak scored a game-high 24 points and Kelly Broussard added 19, leading St. Mary’s High to a 62-45 decision over Bryn Mawr School in an IAAM B Conference basketball contest Monday in Annapolis. The Saints (10-6 overall, 5-2 IAAM B) raced out to a 20-8 first quarter lead, and outscored the Mawrtians, 20-12, in the third quarter to a 52-32 advantage.
Sophomore guard/forward Madeline Crowell led Bryn Mawr (5-12, 1-6 IAAM B) with 15 points, and Katie Snouffer added 13. Senior Dyllan Peterson scored 10.
Bryn Mawr plays at Institute of Notre Dame Wednesday afternoon while St. Mary’s heads to Maryvale Prep.
