Gannon University (PA) held their annual Golden Knight athletic awards on Monday evening and during the virtual ceremony, Milford Mill graduate Nicholas White, the son of the Miller’s long-time head coach Reggie White, was named the football team’s Most Valuable Player.

White, a red-shirt sophomore had 5-1/2 sacks in Gannon’s four-game abbreviated spring season, the most for a Golden Knight since 2017. He also had 8-1/2 tackles for loss.

White, who is a sports management major, graduated fourth in his class at Milford Mill where he was a 16-time honor roll student. He was a member of the Miller’s 2017 state finalist team and was a two-time All-State selection, as well as a Baltimore Touchdown Club All-Star and an All-Baltimore County selection on the offensive and defensive lines.
