There is a lot of wrestling scheduled for the first day of the Maryland Independent Schools State Tournament, with wrestlers going six rounds at the McDonogh School.

Entering the tournament with 11 number-one seeds and taking the top two in seven different weightclasses, the MIAA had a good chance at seeing its wrestlers make it to the tournament’s quarterfinal round.
