Mercy took the top individual honors when it raced Severn in an IAAM A Conference cross country dual meet, on Tuesday, at Anne Arundel Community College, but the host Admirals took the team victory, 25-33.
Mercy’s Amelia Tearnam was the top overall finisher as she posted a time of 23:20, defeating her teammate Kasy Fogelsanger, who placed second in 23:52. From there it was a parade of Severn runners as the next six finishers were all Admirals.
Harmony Roche finished third in 24:21 lead Severn, while Maddie Zuschnitt (4th, 24:21), Grace Weaver (5th, 24:35) and Sarah Bouchard (6th, 25:51) all finished under 25 minutes.
