Eagles top Glenelg Country by 10; Mercer reaches 200 career points


Will Mercer and Nick Stroble each scored five goals and Mercer added two assists. as Indian Creek routed Glenelg Country, 17-7, on the road in MIAA B Conference lacrosse, Tuesday.

Mercer also had a pair of assist to finish with seven points in the game and reach 200 points for his high school career. Stroble also dished out one helper.

The Eagles also got a big performance from Benny Carter, who scored three times and had an assist, while Roddy House and Tyler Stroble scored two goals each and Ty Spencer made 14 saves in goal.

Indian Creek (8-3 overall) is now 3-1 in the B Conference, while Glenelg County dropped to 1-3 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
