Roberson scores 21 in victory over North County


Meade High boys basketball team remained hot, Friday at home, as the Mustangs won their sixth game in a row, with a 91-48 blowout of visiting North County, in Anne Arundel County action.

Meade turned on the jets early, racing out to a 26-10 lead after one quarter and holding a 53-31 advantage at the half.

The Mustangs (7-1 overall) remain undefeated in Anne Arundel County league action, at 7-0.

Meade was led by junior Xavieron Roberson, who scored 21 points and added 5 assists, while classmates Shawn Jones (15 points, 12 rebounds) and John Teague (13 points, 12 rebounds) each had double-doubles. In addition, senior Byson Spruell scored 16 points.
