Spruell drains three 3-pointers in the final quarter as the Mustangs rally from 12 down in the second half

Meade’s Bryson Spruell hit three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as he led the Mustangs back from a 12-point deficit and to a 63-62 victory over Arundel, in a battle for first place in Anne Arundel County.
The two top teams in Anne Arundel County squared off Tuesday night and visiting Meade rallied from 12 points down in the second half to claim a 62-61 win over Arundel to remain undefeated in league play.
Trailing by two at the half, the Mustangs went down further in the third quarter before outscoring the Wildcats 23-13 in the fourth quarter to pull out the victory.
Senior Bryson Spruell was the leader for the Mustangs (11-1 overall, 10-0 AA County), as he scored 15 points, with three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter to pave the way for the comeback. He also adding 6 rebounds.
Xavion Roberson added 12 points and 3 assists. In addition, Andre Campbell and John Teague combined for 18 points.
