Mustangs score three second half goals to finish off Annapolis


The Meade boys soccer team improved to 2-0 in 2018, on Tuesday, as the Mustangs scored three times in the second half to finish off visiting Annapolis, 4-1, in an Anne Arundel County league contest.

Meade led 1-0 at the half and was led in the contest by a hat-trick from Tosin Ayokunle.

Evan Marx scored the other Mustang goal and Silas Baker had an assist. Meade outshot the Panthers (0-1), who were playing their season opener, 12-6. The Mustangs also had a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks.

Shane Steele made six saves in the Meade goal and Jose Pineda stopped eight shots in the Annapolis net.
