Broadneck climbs up to No. 3; Fallston returns

Since our Preseason Top 20, Calvert Hall College has held the top spot in our boys’ soccer rankings, followed close by McDonogh School. This week, however, the Eagles have finally taken over the No. 1 spot, after 10 straight wins, in the VSN Boys Soccer Week 7 Top 20.

Included in that streak is a victory over the Cardinals, who topped the Eagles in the season opener. This week, however, Calvert Hall also lost to No. 14 Gilman School, opening the door for McDonogh.

Also in the Top 5, Broadneck leapt over Loyola Blakefield to No. 3, leaving the Dons to settle in at No. 4. Severna Park rounds out the Top 5, at No. 5.
