The 2009-2010 MIAA squash season got underway on Tuesday at Meadow Mill Athletic Club and McDonogh got off to strong start with a 5-2 win over Friends.
The Eagles swept the first five positions and did not drop a single set in positions 1-4.
Picking up wins for McDonogh were Foster Hoff (No. 1), Brandon Weiss (No. 2), Matt Brown (No. 3), Ian Webb (No. 4) and Will Hauver (No. 5). Friends closed the match with a pair of wins as Hillary Kolonder and Andy Dolina won in the sixth and seventh position, respectively.
