Any conversation concerning teams in the mix for the MIAA A Conference always has to center around McDonogh, the league’s most dominant program over the last 10 years. Last fall, the Eagles earned the top seed for the playoffs, but fell on penalty kicks in the championship game to Mount St. Joseph.
Despite that setback, head coach Steve Nichols’ has another powerful group which figures to be right back in the mix when the playoffs roll around in late October.
This week, Joe DiBlasi of VarsitySportsNetwork.com spent some time at a McDonogh practice to gather some video interviews as the Eagles look to their season opener.
