McDonogh made little work of the Calvert Hall Cardinals, Wednesday night, beating its MIAA wrestling foe 74-3.

Only one match was dropped to a Cardinal, coming at 171, when Forrest Rutledge was able to score a 7-1 decision over Maltsev.

Everyone else on the Eagle squad recorded a fall, with the exception of decision winner Theo Duncan at 145 and tech fall winner Jack Clark at 130, but the fastest fall of the night came by heavyweight Roman Bragilo, taking just 59 seconds to stick his opponent.

McDonogh prepares to depart for the Walsh Jesuit Ironman Tournament this weekend, taking with it a lineup consisting of Xavi Ramos (119), Clark (130), Mitch Bode (135), Toby Hague (140), Tyler Patrick (152), Max Sataloff (160) and Kevin Marvel (189).

Calvert Hall will next take to the mat in a tri-meet with fellow MIAA member John Carroll and public school Bowie Dec. 14.
