The McDonogh Duals kickoff Wednesday afternoon, seeing in-state and out-of-state competitions take to the mats once more before the end of 2010.

Every year the event fulfils its promise of a great two days of wrestling, and 2010 is shaping up to do the same.  Top Baltimore-area competition lies in ranked the MIAA’s Archbishop Curley, Loyola and McDonogh, while the top ranked public school, Glenelg, leads the way for Old Mill and South River.

Good Counsel will also be in attendance for the Maryland schools.

Other out-of-state schools include Brentsville, Kellam, and St. Christopher’s out of Virginia, Father Judge, Northerastern and Spring Grove from Pennsylvania and Washington from West Virginia.

Wrestling starts at 2 p.m., Wednesday, with rounds one through four, and will resume Thursday morning with rounds five through eight.
