Eagles are now the number two team in the powerful IAAM A Conference

McDonogh School has moved into second place in the powerful IAAM A Conference field hockey standings, behind top-ranked Archbishop Spalding, and the Eagles have also climbed two places in the latest VSN Field Hockey Top 20, into the top five at No. 4.

Undefeated Liberty, which clinched its second straight Carroll County title, Monday, remains No. 2, while Arundel, the top squad in Anne Arundel County, climbed one spot to No. 3. Rounding out the top five is No. 5 Garrison Forest, which has remained in the top five all season.

The rest of the Top 20 experienced some minor shuffling throughout, but no no one dropped out and no one new entered the poll.
