On Sunday in Dallas, University of Maryland slugger, and Gilman School grad Max Costes hit his ninth home run of the 2022 season and the 33rd of his Maryland career, moving him into third on the Terps all-time home run list. The senior is now just one behind Will Frazier’s career total of 34 (2002-05), for second place, and 10 behind the all-time leader, Paul Schagler, who slugged 43 from 1984-87. The blast came in a 5-2 loss to Dallas Baptist, top-ranked RPI team in the nation.
