Senior forward Ben Gettier scored a game-high 15 points and Cameron Shields added 13, leading Eastern Tech to a 62-49 decision over Dundalk in a Baltimore County 1A/2A league match Friday evening. Trailing 33-32 at halftime, the Mavericks (5-4 overall, 2-0 1A/2A) held the Owls to 16 points over the final 16 minutes to remain unbeaten along with Owings Mills and Randallstown in the league.
Sayvon Norman and sophomore guard Andre Miles combined for 21 points for Eastern Tech. Jawan Lipscomb and Isiah Jewel tied Gettier for game-high honors with 15 points for Dundalk (3-6, 0-1 1A/2A), and Leslie Demontac finished with 12.
The Owls travel to Kenwood Monday for a non-division matchup. Eastern Tech looks to extend its win streak against Western Tech Wednesday evening on Mace Avenue.
