Eastern Tech senior pitcher Liz Bondarenko struck out four batters, walked none and gave up three hits in the Mavericks’ 13-3 victory over visiting Owings Mills on Monday.
Eastern Tech improves to 5-0 overall on the young season and 1-0 in the Baltimore County Division 1 League. Bondarenko improved to 3-0 with an ERA of 2.00.
Senior first baseman Carly Wheat went 4-for-4 with a double and scored three runs.
Junior catcher Alexis Peay added two doubles and three RBI and Allison Williams also hit two doubles.
Senior Michelle Mohr went 2-for-3 with a double and made several gem defensive plays at third base. Sophomore centerfielder Lindsay Meyers contributed three hits and scored twice.
