Junior Natalie Bates had six RBI and Jodie Bronushas and Rilee Fazenbaker combined on a no-hitter as No. 1 Eastern Tech High defeated Patapsco, 21-0, in a Baltimore County Division I softball contest Thursday.
Amaya Chmielewski and junior Nina Metz each had two hits and two RBi for the Mavericks (9-0 overall, 7-0 Division I), who all their runs in the first three innings including 12 in the first. Bronushas struck out six in three innings before giving away to freshman Fazenbaker, who fanned in two innings, to complete the no-hitter.
Eastern Tech, which hasn’t a loss a regular season Baltimore County match since 2013, will play at Towson Monday and host No. 3 Dulaney Tuesday. Thursday, the Mavericks plays at Hereford, which handed Dulaney its first loss earlier this week.
