Nine different players had at least two carries for No. 11 Eastern Tech as the Mavericks knocked off visiting Overlea, 41-12, on Friday night in Essex.
Eastern Tech (4-1 overall, 2-0 Baltimore County 2A/3A) received a rushing touchdown from quarterback Brad Hager, Sayvon Norman, Daryn Davis and Kenyon Crawford in the rout.
The Mavericks scored first on a 31-yard touchdown run by Hager (five-for-10, two touchdown passes). The senior quarterback then found Chris Pomory in the end zone for a two-yard score.
On defense, Brandon Jones had two sacks while Dan McManus, Michael White, and Milan Barry-Pollock had one sack each.
The Mavericks will travel to Randallstown next Saturday while the Owls travel to Catonsville on Friday at 7 p.m.
