Eastern tech went 1-1, Tuesday, when the Mavericks took on Catonsville and Patapsco, dropping a close match to the Comets and prevailing over Patapsco, 66-0.
Being edged by just 14 points against the Comets, Eastern Tech took six of the matches in the dual meet, and went on to be perfect in the 66-0 win over Patapsco.
Winning two matches on the night were maverick wrestlers Sam Caravello (103), Chuck Baugher (130), Kolten Fodel (135), Dustin Chackleford (140), Ilya Usik (152) and Mitchell Burns (189).
The Comets saw falls from Ward (119), DiPace (145), and Weedon (215).
Catonsville still has to face Hammond before the end of 2010, while Eastern tech faces Loch Raven on Jan. 4, and Patapsco heads to Western tech, Jan. 6.
