Offensive was at premium during the first half of Friday’s Howard County girls basketball game between visiting Marriotts Ridge and host Mount Hebron, as the Mustangs and Vikings went to the break in a 13-13 tie.
Things picked up in the second half and it was Marriotts Ridge which pulled away for 43-33 victory.
Grace Han led the Mustangs with 13 points and teammate Rebecca Fath netted 10 in the win Zoe Stukenberg also scored eight poins for the winners.
Yamika Blackstone, Kelly Jones and Erin Vogan each scored eight points to lead Mount Hebron.
