On a rain soaked field at Joppatowne High School, the Havre de Grace Warriors dropped to the hosting Mariners, 11-9, in Friday night UCBAC boys’ lacrosse action.

The Warriors built a seven-goal lead by the half, finding the back of the Mariner net nine times, but were held scoreless in the second half as Joppatowne added nine goals to their two at the half.

Havre de Grace was led by Mark Holloway, making four assists and scoring a goal, with teammate Justin Gosnell lacing four scores.

Dan Dimeo and Chris Castillo had two goals apiece, while Tyler Coakley made 11 saves in the goal.

Joppatowne’s next game comes on Wednesday against Perryville, as Havre de Grace takes on Bohemia Manor on Monday.
