Two local schools captured championships this weekend at the National Catholics swim meet held at Villanova University in Philadelphia, as Loyola Blakefield was victorious on the boys side and Notre Dame Prep won the girls title.

It was the fourth consecutive year in which Loyola won the championship.  The Dons received a first place effort from Oliver Bennett in the 100 Butterfly and Bennett also swam on the winning 200 Medley and 400 Free relay teams.

The Dons posted 448 teams points, easily topping second place Gonzaga (371) and third-place Malvern Prep (203).

NDP posted 443 points to rout second place Good Counsel (297) and third place Holy Cross (203).
