Alexis Briscoe scored a game-high 20 points, and Olivia Callan added 17 as Long Reach posted a 62-43 decision in a Howard County girls’ basketball contest Monday. The Lightning (3-1 overall, 2-1 Howard) led 32-25 at halftime then outscored the Wildecats (0-4, 0-3 Howard), 20-2, in the third quarter to extend the advantage to 52-27.
Imani Sanders finished with 10 points for Long Reach. Indigo Dickens led Wilde Lake with 11 points.
