Trae Summers scored 25 points and senior guard Leron Fisher (pictured center) added 19, leading No. 10 Lake Clifton past 11th ranked Owings Mills, 71-50, at the 15th annual Basketball Academy at Coppin State University Saturday.

After losing to unranked Aberdeen Friday evening, the Lakers (10-2) took command after halftime, outscoring the Eagles, 20-10, in the third for a 53-35 cushion. Carjahn Jenkins had 16 points for Owings Mills (13-2), which suffered its second straight loss after a 13-0 start, and junior guard Tyson Smith added 12.

The Eagles travel to Pikesville for a Baltimore County 1A/2A league contest Wednesday. Lake Clifton hosts defending Baltimore City league champ and No. 8 Edmondson Tuesday afternoon, in a rematch of last year’s city title game.
