Dons score twice in first 22 seconds in 15-1 win over St. Joe

Loyola Blakefield’s Charlie Koras produced the type of start any lacrosse team would wis for on Friday against Mount St. Joseph.

Koras netted a pair of fast-break goals, off of face-offs, in the first 22 seconds of the MIAA A Conference lacrosse game at Blakefield, and the Dons (2-1 overall, 2-1 MIAA A) would go on to roll to a 15-1 victory.

Koras would go on to complete a hat-trick in the first quarter, while Kevin Tucker and Matt Burnam also scored to give the Dons a 5-1 lead after one quarter.

Koras got the Dons rolling immediately in the second quarter with his fourth goal and an assist, as the lead grew to 7-1. Before the first half ended, Burnam and Tucker each added their second goals, and TJ Gravante tallied to make it 10-1.

Liam Crouse, Brady Rood, Had Celio and Jake Giggliotti also scored for the Dons.

St. Joe (3-4 overall) remains winless in the A Conference at 0-4.
