Key stays undefeated in the MIAA C

Lunt Woodward and Armstrong combine for 5 RBI in 10-run win

So far in 2022 the Key School has received little challenge in the MIAA C Conference baseball race as the Obezags are off to a 7-0 start after Thursday’s 10-0 win over visiting Jemicy.

Angus Lunt Woodward went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and Lachlan Armstrong went 1-for-2 with a double and three RBI in the victory. Of Key’s seven conference wins five have been by 10 runs and one of the others was by eight.

Luke Nespole went 1-for-3 with an RBI for Key (8-2 overall) and Sean Boomer pitched four scoreless innings striking out 8, while Colin MacNabb pitched 1 scoreless inning striking out 2 for the Obezags.
