Garrison Forest’s Mary Taylor scored all three of her team’s goals, including the clincher with an assist from goalkeeper Jena Lafferty, as Garrison Forest downed host St. John’s Catholic Prep, 3-1, in IAAM B Conference soccer, Wednesday in Frederick.

With GFS clinging to a 2-1 lead, with four minutes to play, Lafferty came out of the box and hit a send ball to a streaking Taylor, who scored to put the contest out of reach.  She also finished with 11 saves in the contest.

The game was tied 1-1 at the half and Taylor’s second goal put the Grizzlies on top.  Natalie Delinsky also had an assist for Garrison Forest.
