Howard County’s River Hill and Hammond went undefeated in the first night of the Keaser Classic, Friday, and will vie for top honors in Saturday’s round of four matches against fellow Howard County school WildeLake, who is also undefeated.
Another contender with only one loss is Eleanor Roosevelt of Prince George’s County, while North County and Harford Tech, each with one loss, could play an upset role.
Unfortunately, Carroll County’s Liberty & Winters Mill were forced to withdraw from the tournament due to a mid-afternoon weather advisory report. Winters Mill was considered a favorite to win the tournament.
Saturday’s wrestling begins at 9:00 and will end around 3:30 pm.
