McDonogh quarterback Joel Jorgensen turned in another dominating performance, Friday afternoon in Owings Mills, as he had his hand for Eagle scores during a 37-7 rout of visiting Penn Charter (PA).

Jorgensen scored on a 17-yard run in the opening quarter and then raced 28 yards for a second quarter score to ignite a 17-point second quarter which sent the Eagles to the half with a 23-0 lead.  McDonogh also got a safety in the second stanza when Penn Charter snapped the ball out of the end zone. Later Jorgensen connected with Denzell Walker for a 10-yard TD toss.

In the third quarter Jorgensen found Walker again, this time for a 13-yard touchdown pass. Tre Henley scored the final McDonogh touchdown, in the fourth quarter, on a two-yard run which extended the McDonogh lead to 37-0.

Penn Charter avoided the shutout with a 12-yard touchdown pass from John Lougherty to Deshawn Hollis-Baker.
