Bri Jones posted a triple double with 25 points, 17 rebounds and 16 blocked shots, powering No. 8 Aberdeen to a 67-44 victory over host Bel Air in an UCBAC non-division contest. Jones, who had 28 points in the Eagles’ season opener win over No. 10 Meade, had 22 in the first half Thursday.

Nia Alleyne added 15 points and eight rebounds for Aberdeen (2-0 overall), and Ayana Stewart finished with 11. Caela Tindilia led Bel Air with 14 points, and sophomore Connor Hanley had 13 points.

The Eagles next play at Havre de Grace Monday while Bel Air travels to defending UCBAC and Class 2A state champ Fallston.
