John Carroll’s undefeated boys basketball team posted another impressive win, Tuesday night, as the Patriots routed visiting Loyola, 66-31, in a MIAA/Baltimore Catholic League contest in Bel Air.

The Patriots (11-0) methodically increased their lead each quarter.  Loyola, which has deep shooting threats, was hounded into a poor showing of marksmanship finishing at 25% (10-for-39) from the floor.  John Carroll did an excellent job in its half-court offense and came up one point shy of putting five players into double figure scoring.

Jarred Jones had 16 points and four assists and Ronald Scott netted 15 points, with four assists.  In addition, Malcolm McMillan added 12 points and eight assists, Kamau Stokes scored 10 points and Rodney Elliott had nine points.

For the game, John Carroll shot 50% (28-for-56) finishing with 20 team assists on 28 made field goals.  Lionel Owona and Zach Frink played strong interior defense.  Mike Owona had a game high seven rebounds, while he and Lionel combined to block four shots.

The No. 7 Patriots are now 11-0 this season and they will take on No. 1 City College, Thursday night at home (7:00 p.m.)
