No. 4 John Carroll (9-1-2, 3-1-2) rebounded from its first loss of the year to defeat Mount de Sales 3-0, on Wednesday.
The Patriots first score came at the 20 minute mark off of a long restart from senior Morgan Fraczkowski that sophomore Olivia DiFonso volleyed past the Mount de Sales keeper. The Patriots second goal came at the 29 minute mark as senior Kadie Hook beat a defender and chipped the ball over the keeper’s head. JC went into the half with a 2-0 advantage.
The final score of the match came in the closing minuets as sophomore Jordan Clarke put away a cross from freshman Sophie Centi.
While JC keeper Gina Maiorana was not busy in the net she took charge by directing the patriots throughout the match.
