Hall of Famer and goal scoring machine set records on the collegiate and professional levels
Jesse Hubbard, a 2012 inductee into the U.S. Lacrosse Hall of Frame and a three time NCAA national champion at Princeton University is the special guest on Week 10 of the Kooper’s Tavern VSN LaxCast, our final episode of the 2019 season.
Hubbard, who played prep lacrosse at St. Alban’s School in Washington, D.C, was a three-time college All-American and the Ivy League Player of the Year in 1996, after winning Rookie of the Year in 1995. He holds the Princeton record for career goals with 163 and the single-season points record of 72, set in 1997.
Hubbard’s ability to score did not decrease when he turned professional, leading Major League Lacrosse in scoring in each of his first three years (2001-2003) and is the MLL’s all-time goals leader. He also represented the United States in the 1998 World Lacrosse Championships.
