Baltimore’s top high school football playmaker will play in the All-American game titled by one of the town’s biggest corporate citizens as it has been announced that Gilman’s Darius Jennings will play in the 2011 Under Armour All-American Football Game in January.
The contest, which will be televised live nationally on ESPN, will be played on January 2nd at the Gator Bowl in Orlando, Fla.
Of course, Jennings and his Greyhound teammates still have plenty of unfinished business right here in Baltimore before he heads to Florida. Gilman is once again in the thick of the chase for the 2010 MIAA A Conference championship.
The Greyhounds, who are one of four league teams with just one loss, play at Mount St. Joseph on Saturday afternoon.
