At Univerisity of Kentucky Elite Track meet on Saturday, Matt Jablonski of Loyola won the 1 mile and the 2 mile races.
In the 1 mile, Jablonski ran a time of 4:13, which is now the fourth fastest time in the nation. His performance in the 2 mile time was 9:23, which ranks as the seventh fastest time in the country.
Also on Saturday, at the Hoxton Invitational at Episcopal High School (PA), Loyola’s Brandon Young won both the triple and the long jump. Brandon tripled 40′-11 and long jumped 19′-11″.
