The NBA is famous for its home-and-home match-up which see two teams play in one city and fly to another for a re-match the following night. Well, St. Mary’s and Severn had their own version of the home-and-home this week, with the Saints taking both contests.
Following a 51-38 home win in Annapolis on Thursday, St. Mary’s visited Severn on Friday and won the rematch 56-42.
Mason Frymark was the game’s top scorer as he led St. Mary’s with 16 points and Jake Brudish added 10 points. St. Mary’s built a 14-8 lead at the end of one quarter and was never headed by the Admirals. The Saints put the contest away with a 19-10 advantage in the third period.
Jarid Ryan led Severn with 15 points.
