It was a quick dual meet at C. Milton Wright High School, Monday, as both the North East Indians and C. M. Wright Mustangs combined for nine falls and three forfeits in the Indians’ 48-point victory.

Recording five pins to open the match, Beckert, Taylor, Mazurick, Koch and Curry all pinned in the respective weightclasses from 103 to 130, and Keeley would extend the North East winning streak to a sixth match with a tight 9-8 decision at 135.

Following a forfeit, the 145-pound Russell picked back up the Indian winning way with a 13-7 decision, opening the door for Downes to pin at 152 and Boone to do the same at 171, before Daley and Hanna both received forfeits at 215 and 285, respectively.

C. Milton Wright saw three Mustang arms raised before the night was through; Wesdock being awarded a forfeit at 140, and 160-pound Neenan and 189-pound Cavanaugh working falls.

Cavanaugh’s fall was the fastest of the night, coming in just 14 seconds.

The Mustangs will host reigning UCBAC champ Bel Air on Wednesday, while North East plays host to Perryville the same night.
