Playing is basketball season-opener, Indian Creek roared out to a 43-15 lead in the first half against Washington Latin and went on to post an impressive 75-34 victory, Thursday night in the first round of the Inter County Shootout at Calverton School.

Sophomore Tashoun Barnes led the way for the Eagles with a near triple-double, totaling 21 points, 19 rebounds and seven steals.  Freshman Derron Morgan, junior Bijon Brydson and sophomore Gregory Marsh also reached double figures for the Eagles totaling  11, 10 and 10 points, respectively.

The win pushed the Eagles into the championship game of the Inter County Shootout on Saturday.
