Calvert Hall College continued its ascension in the latest ESPN RISE boys’ lacrosse national rankings. The Cardinals, the area’s consensus No. 1, moved up three spots to No. 6.

Calvert Hall remained unbeaten Tuesday with a 9-6 decision over VSN’s No. 2 St. Paul’s School. The defending MIAA A champ Crusaders moved up to 11th in the ESPN poll.

After falling to Gilman School in OT last Friday, McDonogh School fell from No. 10 to 14th. St. Mary’s landed 17th while Gilman advanced seven spots to No. 20
