The IAAM tennis tournament began Monday at McDonogh School with first round and quarterfinal action.
In B Conference play, No. 2 seed Rachel Bolan of Friends School advanced in No. 1 singles as well as Glenelg Country School’s Maddy Taylor, the No. 2 seed in No. 2 singles.
In No. 1 doubles, St. Timothy’s School’s Clara Cuccaro & Arielle Speert upended No. 2 seed Mollyann Pais & Elisa Rehak from John Carroll in three sets. No. 2 seed Natalie Naor and Bonnie Salmeron advanced in No. 2 doubles.
In the A tournament, Archbishop Spalding’s Brianna Kress and Gabrielle Seddon defeated No. 3 seed Julia Kaufman and Andie Himmerich from Park School in the No. 3 doubles quarterfinals.
The tournament continues Tuesday and Wednesday, with the finals scheduled for Thursday at McDonogh. Click the link below for brackets and information.
