Eight IAAM lacrosse players were recently honored with All-American status by US Lacrosse.
Recent Garrison Forest School grad Liza Blue was chosen along with Class of 2010 members Paige Hanson (Bryn Mawr School), Megan Helm (Notre Dame Prep), Adrienne Tarver (Park School), Hannah Hook (Severn) and Lyndsey Munoz (St. Mary’s).
Blue and Helm are headed to the University of Virginia, and Hanson is ACC-bound to North Carolina. Tarver will play for Yale, Hook will attend Denver and Munoz is also headed to west to Stanford.
Covie Stanwick, a rising senior at Notre Dame Prep was named All-American along with John Carroll midfielder Annie Thomas. Stanwick has committed to Boston College. Recent Garrison Forest graduate Callie Murphy and John Carroll rising junior midfielder Erica Bodt were honorable mention picks.
