Organizers of the inaugural I-95 Kick-Off Classic have announced that advance ticket sales will represent a substantial savings to attend the high school football showcase event.  The Classic will run September 3rd and 4th at Johnny Unitas Stadium on the campus of Towson University at an $11 price point for all four September 4th games.

“For $11, you can see some of the best high school football talent that this region has to offer in a four-game format,” said David Combs, Media Relations Director for Extra Point Productions, which is organizing the event.  “The ticket price even includes parking, and in today’s economy, the Board of Directors at Extra Point felt that the Classic will provide quality athletic entertainment in a family-oriented environment and at a fraction of the price for a college or professional event.

“We are very excited about this, and we invite high school football fans throughout the region to be a part of this because we hope to make this a bigger event next year.”

Ten of the Washington and Baltimore Metropolitan area’s best private school football programs will match-up in the Classic produced by Extra Point Productions, an organization dedicated to enriching local youth through sportsmanship and leadership development.

The game slate includes Washington Catholic Athletic Conference powerhouses DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, MD) and Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, Maryland) taking on Baltimore’s Loyola High School and Gilman High School, respectively at 4:30 and 7:30 pm on Saturday September 4th.  Forestville, Maryland’s Bishop McNamara High School (Forestville, MD) opens up the Saturday session at 10:30 am against Mt. St. Joseph’s High School (Baltimore, MD) followed by a match-up of Baltimore’s Archbishop Spalding and Calvert Hall in the 1:30 pm session.  The Classic has also added a September 3rd game on Friday between Gonzaga College High School (Washington, DC) out of the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference and The McDonough School (Baltimore, MD).
