A 15-run inning almost unheard of in high school baseball, but it was reached by the Patterson Mill Huskies, Wednesday, in the team’s 26-3 destruction of the Havre de Grace Warriors.

Matt Golczewski was a one-man wrecking crew  for the Huskies, going a perfect four-for-four with two doubles, six runs batted in and scoring six four times, whie Joe Roman finished Three-for-three with two RBIs.

Six other runs were split between Berger and Thompson, each knocking in three, as Childs finished his game with a triple, adding to the team’s 24 hits in their errorless game.

Thompson earned the win in just three innings of work, allowing three hits and a three-run third inning to the Warriors.  England threw the other two innings, allowing one hit and striking-out two batters.

The Patterson Mill Huskies seem to have found their way back on track, winning their past two games after their first loss of the season, last week, falling to the Rising Sun Tigers.

Currently eight for nine on the week, Golczewski is making a run at player of the week status with an .889 batting average, driving in eight runs while scoring as many, and earning 11 total bases with the held of three doubles.
