The Patterson Mill Huskies have had a tough week in boys’ lacrosse, falling victim to both the Bel Air Bobcats and C. Milton Wright Mustangs in UCBAC action this week.
Trailing C. Milton by one goal at the half, 8-7, the Huskies were unable to match the Mustangs in second half scoring, leading to the 14-11 loss.
Ward notched an impressive six goals for the Mustangs, alongside two-goal nights by Matthai and Rollins.
Wedekind posted four goals in the Husky scoring efforts, while Wilson and Alston each added multi-goal nights.
The Huskies failed to outscore their opponents again in the second half of their most recent game with the Bobcats, as Bel Air overcame a 5-4 deficit in the first half to beat Patterson Mill, 8-7.
Bel Air was led by three-goal scorer Kalama, as Rew posted two goals and Jones, Gayo and Greagnan amounted the other three scores. Gayo also made four assists in the game.
Bowers, Wilson and Wedekind were the scorers for the huskies, only scoring two goals in the second half against Richards and his 11 saves. Kuhn made 16 saves in the Patterson Mill goal.
